Yesterday was chilly again with wind, more clouds than sun. The clouds were dark grey and looked like rain but it stayed dry. It was cold last night. I wore my winter coat to put the last of the wastebasket trash bags in the garbage pail at the curb last night for this morning's pickup. The cold air triggered another arthritis flare. By yesterday evening my left ankle was throbbing and my right hip was very stiff and sore. The pain radiates underneath my foot more these days as well. The MRI six months ago didn't see signs of plantar fascitis but I'm definitely getting more bouts of heel and arch pain now. It will be interesting to see what next month's follow up MRI shows.

Yesterday was Petco and supermarket shopping. They had no cat blankets so I got him a cat bed he's suspicious of and hasn't really tried out yet.

Today it's sunny and currently in the mid 50s due to hit the low 60s later. The kids from the neighborhood school are out walking around the neighborhood. Half day for them due to the Easter weekend. I wonder if next week will be spring break for them.

There is no outdoor cross walk around the neighborhood for the Catholic church around the corner this year. They must be planning one walking around the inside of the church for this evening. Maybe they were hesitant to schedule one outdoors with all the recent bouts of rain.

After I have lunch I have to run to the bank then take care of things around the house and in the yard. I'm in the middle of a sibling argument between my sisters as we need to get new gutter downspouts and wood trim replacement to the back roof bump out over the back quarter of the kitchen. I'll never understand in a million years why this house was built with a roof bump out instead of just having the first and second floors of the house vertically equal in the back. The front is all even with the porch being attached to the front of the house. Basically it's a colonial four square house and with sunroom on the side. A lot of the colonial four squares in my neighborhood either have a large enclosed front porch that is flush with the second floor or a small attached front porch with a sunroom on the side. My sister's friends who live four blocks up this street have the enclosed front porch style, as do the next door neighbors. I need to get a couple of contractors to give me estimates on the repair job.
