Heidi, you need to give it time to feel comfortable on your drive to the lake again. The emotions of the accident plus the loss of your poor Pablo are going to take time to heal.

We weren't supposed to have showers again until tonight, but nope we're getting bouts of drizzle now. Fortunately while it's cloudy it's not super dark grey skies. The sunlight seems to be trying to break through the clouds. We were lucky that later on yesterday afternoon the clouds left and we actually had bright sunshine for a change. It's in the upper 50s on its way to the low 60s.

So yesterday I went to both Stop and Shop and ShopRite. ShopRite is selling their store brand organic milk for 50 cents less than Stop and Shop so I bought two cartons there. The ShopRite also has more flavor varieties of the Knorr pasta sides with sauce and rice sides with sauce plus they were on sale. There are certain things cheaper at each store vs the other and with rising grocery prices this makes a difference. I'll have to go back to shopping at each chain every week for the best deals instead of randomly going back and forth between the two. For some reason my closest Stop and Shop has decided to stop selling various things and is running closeout deals to get rid of the rest of their inventory for those items. I don't know what's up with that. The Stop and Shop's aren't independently owned franchises like the ShopRites. But they can really differ between stores in some ways anyway. The company that Stop and Shop also owns Giant and Food Lion. My sister in Virginia has Giant and things are more consistent with her store there.

Today is a home day for me. Various things to take care of around the house, with errands and an oil change for the car on the agenda this week starting tomorrow.
