Yesterday was rainy and chilly. During the night I could hear the sound of sleet, the ice pellets hitting the windows. I got weather alerts from the weather apps on my phone during the night. A combination of rain/sleet/snow travel warning went into effect until 9 am. When I got up it was back to rain but there was a small clump of snow by the neighbor's fence near our driveway.

It's a lousy afternoon. Dreary, drizzly, only in the upper 30s. More like February than the middle of April. This weather has triggered an arthritis flare up and it's driving my sinuses bonkers. Definitely a home day for sure. Shopping is put off until tomorrow afternoon when it's no longer wet. Supposedly it will be in the mid 50s then.

I saw about the price of stamps going up. I'll have to pick up some more before that happens. Everything is getting to be too expensive. It will just get worse when the tarrifs take full effect and the economy tanks further. Nothing like having the White House destroy the economy as political game playing. (sigh)
