I'm glad the rain quit for now. More later in the week through part of the weekend. The rain and cold are aggravating my arthritis. My bad ankle is more swollen and stiff. It was awful last night so I iced my ankle before bed. I always keep a couple of reusable soft ice packs from the drugstore in the freezer.
This afternoon was grocery shopping. Afterwards I went back to Michael's. I am signed up for their rewards program and had enough points to earn a ten dollar shopping coupon. I bought Caron yarn in a variegated white/tan/pink color scheme. They had two of the one pounder skeins and I grabbed both. The coupon covered 75% of the cost for one skein.
I'm still at work on the granny squares project. I'm making my squares in the evenings. I have two skeins of the black-ruby color scheme and one skein of black with shades of green and aqua blue. But I'm still thinking about the panels of Tunisian crochet. I have a big skein of black yarn, but I should somehow incorporate some of the colors from the granny squares.
When I had hand PT pre-Covid I had such pain crocheting. I'm doing better now with my fingers this time around even though the cold temps and the bouts of rain are making my hands and wrists hurt at times. It's progress though.
