Lol, I hope your hen learned her lesson about the risks of staying out all night.

It's a sun and clouds mix here, was in the low 60s earlier. Now it's in the upper 50s. The wind is picking up again and we're due for rain showers later.

My doctor's office in only open for a very short time on Fridays so I wound up going to the walk-in group practice yesterday afternoon since my throat was so raw and the glands in my neck painfully swollen from this bug that's going around. I can't take chances with this going down into my chest with the asthma. My tonsils were swollen as well. They swabbed the back of my throat to check for Strep. Fortunately that came back negative. I'm now on very high dose antibiotics to fight off the bacterial side of this. It's always a delicate balance with my sinuses and the asthma situation.

My throat is less sore today. I'm going back and forth between my nose and sinuses being all stuffed up, and sneezing and lots of post nasal drip. There must be a lot of respiratory bugs going around because my sister in Virginia had something like this earlier this week. My sister here is still coughing and sneezing. Fortunately for her she doesn't have a raw throat.

I didn't feel up to going out for errands or going to the laundromat today. Maybe tomorrow for errands and either Monday or Tuesday for laundry.
