It got cold last night as the rain was winding down and it took a while for the furnace to catch up. Today it's sunny with strong wind gusts and will only go up into the low 50s this afternoon but feel colder all day with the wind.

I picked up whatever that bug is my sister is sick with. My throat is scratchy, I have swollen glands in my neck, and I'm going back and forth between sinus congestion and a runny nose with post nasal drip, and feel a bit achy and tired. Not exactly an errands running day. Just essential housework and resting. Maybe just read the mystery novel I'm in the middle of.

I do have to call in a while to schedule my feet and ankle MRIs. I received a message about this from them earlier.
