The weather is not helping. My sinuses are awful and I'm in the middle of an uncomfortable autoimmune flare. My left leg was all stiff and hurty yesterday. I was limping while I walked. I had planned to go grocery shopping yesterday but felt too lousy. I'm going to run to the store in a while because the flare is less intense today.
After I see the foot and ankle orthopedist on Tuesday I'm going to call my old rheumatologist's office up-county and schedule an appointment now that the winter weather has broken. When I look at the symptoms of Sjogren's syndrome, including the digestive tract issues and chronic fatigue stuff, it all fits my symptoms to a T. I probably have at least 90% of the main symptoms affecting various parts of the body. With the chronic dry mouth I have thrush on my tongue yet again. I have to eat more yogurt and rinse my mouth out with salt water to get it to go away.
I need to ask her about running diagnostic tests for Sjogren's since the new rheumatologist lost interest and can't be bothered. I haven't seen her in six months, with no appointments scheduled, so it's time to drop her in favor of my original doctor.
