Heidi, a news article about the car toll text scam popped up in my phone's news feed earlier. This is a nation-wide problem. More text based scams are happening so it's best to just ignore and delete any weird texts.
A couple of skeins of the yarn I bought are that new Red Heart variegated yarn which is designed specifically for making granny squares where the colors for each round change themselves so you don't need to switch yarns. You use a size 9 crochet hook. They have two types- traditional squares and flower center squares. So I want to play around with this-
