trump was a bussiman and he know how to run large businesses so he can tell what it not needed. do not know about musk. rest of the presidents were lawyers. feel sorry for people loosing jobs though

Government is not a business. It's something very different. Over the decades Trump declared bankruptcy multiple times and had to be bailed out by various banks. His Trump University, Trump Airlines, Trump Steaks, Trump Atlantic City casinos all failed. He has a very mixed record with success vs failure. He has been sued by contractors for various projects over the years for not paying them. Back in the 1970s and 80s when he owned regular apartment buildings in NYC he was taken to court for being a slum lord for not keeping his buildings in good repair and up to code. He was also taken to court for being a racist who refused to rent to people who were black.

Trump and Musk are currently dismantling the federal government, weakening the country and our economy. They are turning us into international villains who side with Russia and North Korea. His goals to steal Greenland, the Panama Canal, and forcefully annex Canada are insanity.

Their goal to end charitable aid abroad, eliminate first Medicaid and SNAP, then later Medicare and Social Security will lead to mass homelessness for Americans and people dying needlessly both in the US and abroad.

Trump and Musk are morally bankrupt, unethical, and dangerous to our country's wellbeing.

Past presidents had a mixture of career backgrounds- lawyers, business people, military people, farmers, plus Reagan was the Hollywood film star who was also the head of the Actors Guild for a while. Our last president with an MBA was George W. Bush.
