Yesterday was chilly. I got the laundry done and stopped by the supermarket again for a few more things. I grocery shopped in the evening close to store closing time so it was quiet, not filled with people stocking up because of the snow.

Today was cloudy grey all day and cold. Just a home day for me. It's snowing now with occasional bits of sleet I can hear hitting the windows. There are already a couple of inches of snow on the ground. I still have to fill the bird feeders for tomorrow morning, not fun to do while it's snowing.

I only have one unopened ten pound bag of the basic environmentally friendly ice melt left for the sidewalk and walkway, and I'm half way through the currently opened bag. I'll have to pick up another bag or two at Home Depot on Monday after PT. The ice melt for the stairs is a separate jug of more expensive pet friendly ice melt that clings to the steps better than the basic stuff, so you can use less and get the same level of melting. I still have some of that but if we keep getting clobbered by storms I'm going to need to buy another jug.

Why can't it be warmer and just rain instead?
