44 right now. did not freeze last night. first in a long line of cold weather.t his week temps will go up. glad of it . am tired of cold weather
been out to feed critters.  its drizzling. will be on and off rain all day long. seems to rain on my wash day last few mondays.so wash is in spare room. will day with heater coming off and on

its daughter come to lunch  day. made a black berry pie yesterday. had frozen berries in freezer. love the crunch. right now have pork cooking will add kraut to it. and a pan of fried potatoes. that it to be lunch. 

finished another throw 13 done now. may get one more before i go to hospital   and get rid of them. sure hope she got yarn. she has to wait till the hospital okays her to order she told me that last trip. next month is the annual  luncheon at the country club. they hand out  pins for hours served. i am way on up there. they consider crocheting and volunteering.

all my throws are 5 foot long and zig zag pattern. i have this pattern inplanted in brain. can watch tv and count stitches same time. if i do not count will loose some and then am lost


i voluntered for va for years they did not give me yarn. i bought or went to yard sales to get. but what i enjoyed about the va was i could give my throws to vets my self. i baked for them too and handed that out. now with the hospital just give the throws to the head. never get to hand any out. lots cheaper for me
