It only made it up to 31 this afternoon.

Yesterday I stopped by Michaels, then Kohl's. I bought a couple of tops at Kohl's. Too soon for much in the way of new merchandise yet beyond a few late winter/early spring Sonoma cardigans. But I already have enough of cardigans.

This afternoon I went back to Joann's arts and crafts. They had the one color of Red Heart yarn I was looking for that Michael's didn't have in stock, but they sold out of another yarn brand's skeins of a blue-ish teal color they had last week. I should have bought it back then. People are also buying up that Red Heart yarn in variegated colors designed for making granny squares with a flower shaped center. Multiple colors schemes of that completely sold out. I was thinking about getting the skeins in shades of lighter purple with white, and the shades of lighter blue with white. But that was all gone.

Afterwards I went to IKEA to spend my $10 birthday money. I bought laundry bags and storage bags. I got a jar of their lingonberry sauce and a bottle of the lingonberry juice. The juice is really good chilled. They actually had sturdy metal shoe horns so I bought one since it's a bit awkward with putting my left shoe on with the ankle brace.
