It's bitter here as well. It just made it up into the mid 20s this afternoon and was sunny. Fortunately the wind was still most of the time. We got somewhere between 3 and 4 inches of snow with a layer of ice underneath since the storm started out a mix before turning to all snow.
Lots of shoveling and lots of ice melt put down everywhere. My ankle is throbbing and my knees aren't happy campers either. I can't take ibuprofen on an empty stomach so I'll have to take it a while after dinner. My missed PT session will be made up for at lunchtime Thursday. So my first session of the week will be the previously scheduled Wednesday afternoon appointment.
Tonight's low is supposed to go down into the low teens. It won't get above freezing again until Friday afternoon and they're already warning about a potential rain to snow storm arriving next Sunday. It's been a while since we've had such a bitter winter with multiple cold snaps beginning in early December.
