24 this morning.up to 30 now about froze hanging out wash. but with wind it will dry was out to feed critters. all waiting. 

one of my roosters died. do not know what from. bigger rooster was chasing him yesterday. but think he died from other cause do not know why he was a spring chicken. thought he was so cute. reallys small black and white.

so today daughter coming to lunch. i saw a lasagna i made in freezer few months ago. forgot about it. ever do that? it is now thawed and going to be lunch.  i have 2 pot pies i made in there too. today is national cheese day. so found just in time going to make a salad. i made cookies saturday that will be dessert

this has been our coldest month in years. and this week will be the coldest yet. they quit saying wintery mix now its snow tuesday night and wednesday. but arguing about how much some say half inch some say inch and one says 2 inches
