The weather radar shows light snow above our heads but it sounds more like light rain falling. I don't think it went below freezing last night. Since it's in the upper 30s and will stay above freezing for a few more hours at least nothing will stick to the ground right away. I have to spray car deicer on the door lock mechanisms of the car. The Corolla doors tend to ice up with precipitation in cold weather. I will leave the driver's door and front passenger door unlocked.
My sister has an SUV with four wheel drive so she went off somewhere for a while. I'm home for the day. Just taking care of stuff around the house. Yesterday's laundry needs folding and that sort of thing. I got a text from the appointment reminder service for the PT place with a reminder about tomorrow's appointment. That definitely needs to be rescheduled since it's supposed to snow until midnight or so, so tomorrow will be a shoveling day. Different tv stations are giving different total estimates for us. Either between 3 to 6 inches, or 4 to 8. Some account for the fact my area is at lower elevation compared to the rest of the county and others don't. My side of town is in the valley, not up in the hills or on the mountains.
