bur bur 25 this morning when i was hanging up clothes fingers about froze. fed critters they were more than hungry. fish not swimming on top this morn with open mouths

its daughter come to lunch day. she told me yesterday. we are having chili . i had the left over navy beans. leftover beans make good chili they already have a good taste.

i finished the candied orange peel. long drawn out process. you soak over night in salt water. then this morning i boiled them through 4 waters then boiled in sugar. when rendered down rolled in sugar now drying on a rack. this will be our dessert. have not made in years. had all that orange peel from ambrosia yesterday

church yesterday was good. forget what a pastor is like . we are looking for a pastor since ours retirement at the end of this month. He got out of hospital yesterday they said.

think losing my mind these holidays have my days all confused. do not know why i thought christmas is thursday. was shocked today when i see on tv its wednesday. so tomorrow Christmas. eve a other church evening. time sure flying. got to get the pork picnic out of the freezer to thaw and look to see what i plan on cooking so not want to go to store again.
