Yesterday was Christmas shopping at Kohl's and on Amazon. My Amazon packages should arrive tomorrow. At Kohl's I got everyone soft fleece pajama sets. I bought a set for myself as well. I ran into Target and the parking lot was mobbed. Lots of people shopping in the afternoon. At home the housework focused on vacuuming. My other sister is driving up from Virginia overnight Saturday night-early Sunday morning.

Today we had light snow. Fortunately it didn't stick on the roads and sidewalks. I had to sweep it off the porch steps though and I put ice melt down everywhere and cleared the snow off the car. The schools all had half day, so the school buses were all over the place at lunchtime.

It was just a home day. This weather is bothering my sinuses and my eyes. Tomorrow the high is only supposed to be 33 degrees, and only in the mid 20s on Sunday. Oh, joy I'm tired of January-February temps in mid-December.

Tomorrow I want to get to the ShopRite that sells store-made peppermint bark in their bakery department for the holidays. It's tasty and sells out quickly. Plus I need to get a little laundry done.
