My body is still out of sorts from the steroids in my system. I still don't feel well, feel run down and uncomfortable. I'm still taking my antibiotics and am eating yogurt. My digestive system is still all out of sorts. I'm going back and forth between feeling chilled and getting overheated/flushed but I don't have a fever. It's also triggered a flare up with the chest wall inflammation. But the cortisone shots didn't do a darn thing to help my knee arthritis. No help at all. I'm going through all the steroid side effects for nothing. My knees also still hurt from where he rammed the needles in hard. Because I had the cortisone shots I have to wait four more weeks before I can start the gel lubricant injections. Never again with the high dose cortisone. Simply awful. Do not recommend.
Yesterday afternoon I brought all the outdoor plants in that can't handle overnight temps or wind chills that fall below the low 20s. I dug the plants out of the big planter on the front lawn as well and potted them, the small mums and such. Everyone is now down the basement. This is the first time I've had to bring them in this early. It's usually some time in January or February. So much for the meteorologists saying we're going to have a milder winter.
I'm not sure what's on the agenda for this afternoon yet. My sister is still here but is driving back to Virginia Monday, but will be back before Christmas. She's applying for a job up here. She's leaving her cat with us.
I have to rake some leaves this weekend. Normally the town would have the yard waste pickup running until late December but this year it's only running until the middle of the month. Not helpful since the leaves are still various colors up on some species of trees and the ones on the ground are clumpy and wet still from recent rain. The deciduous trees aren't all bare here until late December so it's stupid that they are quitting the yard waste pickup earlier this year.
