It made it up into the 50s and I went to the doctor but didn't get the flu shot this time because I'm dealing with problematic side effects from the cortisone in my system. I'm still cycling between sort of constipation and loose bowel movements. Since steroids raise your blood sugar and make your kidneys and bladder work overtime it triggered a UTI, so I'm now on antibiotics. Surprise, surprise cortisone injections mess with your hormones and can trigger a light period in postmenopausal women. Lucky me! My knees are still kinda stiff and sore on the sides where I got the injections. Overall I feel kinda lousy.

After my doctor appointment I just made a fast trip to the supermarket before the drug store.
