We're still eight and half inches below normal with the rainfall and no chance of real rain in sight. Just a slim chance of a few drops either tomorrow night or Monday night. More fire problems. Now there's a brush fire in one of the parks in northern Manhattan. The big fire up-county into NY state is only partially contained. Fortunately the wind is blowing the worst of the smoke to the west of us. The high today was only 50 degrees. It goes down into the mid to upper 30s at night now.

I'm tired today so I slept in and didn't get the oil changed. I'll take the car to the service station another day. I just ran a short errand in the afternoon. Tomorrow I go back to the same orthopedics group in the medical arts building I was at yesterday, located in a busy area with heavily trafficked highways to see the knee orthopedist. I need to wear a skirt for that and the high tomorrow is only supposed to be in the upper 40s with wind gusts. Definitely going to wear a longer maxi skirt. It won't hit 60 again until Saturday.
