It was sunny but only made it up into the low 60s for a while before dropping back into the 50s. It will be chilly tonight. Likely down to the upper 30s overnight. There are still brush fire problems in parts of the state. They're saying no chance of rain until next weekend. This half of the state is in moderate drought now. South Jersey is even worse. We're expected to be in either yellow or red flag fire danger all week because it keeps getting windy and the humidity is low. The top soil is dry and dusty. The winds blow it around and the dust is noticable on the car since it's navy blue. The grass on a patch of our front lawn is dead. The grass seeds aren't going to spur growth on the bald patch until next spring. I haven't mowed the lawn in two months.

It's been a home day for me, taking care of stuff around the house. I should sort the laundry to take to the laundromat tomorrow while I watch tv this evening. It's a recycling sorting weekend as well.

I haven't spoken to either sibling since Thursday so I don't know if the one here voted yet or how my other sister's job interview went.
