High fire danger warnings continue here with the gusty winds,low humidity and drought. It's not supposed to rain until next weekend. So we will go the entire month of October with no rain. I'm not just watering the plants in pots but some of the bushes and shrubs are in rough shape so I'm watering them as well. Summer drought followed by a Sunday deluge in early September followed by autumn drought is threatening to kill off several bushes and shrubs, they are really struggling right now.

It's cooler again with temps in the 60s with overnight lows in the 40s but will warm up again during the week. Yesterday was just a home day taking care of stuff around the house and I was tired from Thursday's PT. The company that my HMO outsourced their decision making about authorizing tests and treatments is that notorious EviCore medical decision-making firm that goes out of its way to deny everything for patient care, turned down my getting the hyaluronic acid gel injections for my knees. My orthopedist will have to file an appeal. I have an appointment to see him in a couple of weeks to discuss the situation. The doctors office let me know. I haven't received the paperwork from EviCore in the mail yet. They're so notorious people call them EvilCore.

Today was a trip to Home Depot and Petco then fast food for dinner. I'm at the laundromat now.
