It got up into the low 70s today. We have mild weather until next Wednesday. Then a cold front will come through and it will go back to being chilly late next week. No rain up here this month either. We are officially in mild drought. South Jersey is moderate to severe drought. Some South Jersey farmers lost some crops and have had to pay a small fortune to run irrigation systems to the crops they still have and are about to harvest.

My sister and I went to Costco this afternoon. It was mobbed since it's the weekend. We got more croissants since they're so good, plus the 40 pound bag of Kaytee bird seed. A bag lasts for five weeks and it's cheaper than buying two 20 pound bags of the store brand seed from the supermarkets.

Afterwards I gave my sore ankle a break and spent time relaxing on the sofa and finished reading a cozy mystery novel I started last weekend. After dinner I watched a little TV and now I'm at the laundromat waiting for the towels to finish drying.
