I had success at Burlington Coat Factory yesterday buying two pairs of jogger pants and a pack of ankle socks but you wait on line to check out for a long time at that store. Afterwards I stopped by Target. Today while I'm out I should stop by Michael's arts and crafts store. I buy their basic craft tee shirts one size up to wear as loose fitting oversized tops as workout shirts for PT and my current tees are showing their age. I'll have to run to the laundromat tomorrow afternoon to wash everything. My next PT appointment is Tuesday afternoon and the daytime high is only supposed to be in the low to mid 50s.
I am tired today. It's not good arthritis sleeping weather plus the pillows I prop my feet on to elevate them keep shifting while I sleep and that wakes me up. I get all sorts of muscle twinges and spasms in the one ankle too. It's hard to stay comfortable to sleep well.
This afternoon I have to run to the supermarket for a few things. The gas and electric company is doing the gas line upgrade to the house midweek so there are some hostas and other decorative plants out front that have to be dug up and potted this afternoon to safely remove them from the area where the gas shut off valve is on the lawn near the curb. I can't bend down to dig up plants with my bad ankle so my sister will have to do the digging. I have a stupid jury duty summons postcard. You have to fill out a form online but I'm having difficulty getting the web page to load properly. Pre-Covid they would pester me constantly and I would have to a get medical exemption letter from my doctor's office. They basically told them point blank to remove my name from the jury duty list because my health is lousy and here I am again with this problem. The doctor's office charged $30 for the letter last time, so this is going to be another $30 down the drain. None of my health issues have cures, it's never going to get any better for me, only rougher so I wish they would leave me alone with this.
