It's sunny and in the low 70s. My sister arrived early this morning. I got to bed late and slept late so when I heard her moving around I didn't get up. Since she drove overnight she took a long nap anyway. In a while I'll go clothes shopping for the jogger pants. It's the only day in the 70s we're going to get for a while so I can wear my loose fit capris. Trying on pants with an ankle brace is definitely going to be awkward. By Tuesday the high temperatures will only be in the mid 50s. November weather in mid October. Not looking forward to it.

The northern lights weren't visible here last night. It seems to be more visible in the western half of the state. I took video and still photos with my cell phone camera to see if it would pick up anything subtle but all I got was the lights from a plane in the sky. Tonight is supposed to be the chance to see the comet in the western sky after sunset.
