I'm not sure if the northern lights that were visible in a lot of areas around 8 pm yesterday were visible in my neighborhood because my one niece called and we wound up on the phone talking for over an hour. They're mostly all living in the towns outside Las Vegas, except for the family members who recently moved north closer to Reno. It's been a hotter than normal fall out there following a very hot summer, with serious drought since they had no monsoon rains in August/September. Afterwards I did get to the laundromat. I was surprised when I put the 11 pm news last night and they were showing photos emailed to them of the aroura taken around the tri-state area by the public.
Today it's just been some light housework but also resting time. I'm a bit tired from yesterday's PT plus wearing the ankle brace doesn't help with the tendonitis swelling at all. It kinda makes it worse. The swelling makes my ankle sore and my skin itch. If I just doing basic light tasks around the house I can skip the brace. I'm keeping my foot elevated for rest breaks and when I sleep as the physical therapist suggested. The tendons feel bunched up and it feels better when I flex my foot with toes up and ankles down, a few times on and off all day to stretch them out.
My one sister is driving up overnight tonight. My other sister refuses to come by the house as long as she's up here. (sigh)
