45 last night. thought heater was not coming on. i jiggled the thermostat and it came on. i  need new thermostat. as it does not move when i turn up or down. it was put in the 70s

weed whacked yesterday

daughter coming for lunch. most of it in oven. meat, potato and acorn squash. butter peas in pot. so about all set

also cleaning  morn.

put things in mail box. went and looked what renters put out. several boxes. its food that was given away . last week. all non perishable. i would not want it either but why get and then put to curb.  did see a man get some. 5 jars of peanut butter. 

lots still do not have power . i hear on tv all my  family does
grand Jamie never lost power.  only one i know. other grand daugher house was hit hard just got power yesterday. insurance is sending a structural engeneer to check house. this is a hugh house they just moved in 6 months ago. but insurance will cover all she was told
