There was a lot of traffic getting to my orthopedist appointment since it's right off highways in a busy area. I was able to see the MRI images of my worse ankle. So I have ankle brace and will go back to PT to hopefully help long tear in that tendon heal. This is the reality of arthritis damage. She said having surgery on it would be a major thing. That's something I want to avoid. On my way out the door I made an appointment to see a knee orthopedist later this month.

Afterwards I stopped by the new Barnes and Noble store. It's a nicely decorated store. Big too. I bought a couple of paperback mysteries and they had the autumn issue of Birds and Blooms magazine.

I could see the parkway was bumper to bumper from the overpass so I delayed switching highways and instead went to IKEA. I walked around for a bit and picked up a few small things including their cookies and chocolate bars. When I get on the parkway there was still traffic but it was sluggish but not at a standstill anymore.

After dinner I took care of some things around the house and watched the VP debate on tv.
