It's cloudy with temps in the mid 60s with gusty breezes, with heavier wind where my doctor's appointment was since it's a higher elevation up there. Lol, not the ideal weather for wearing a poufy midi circle skirt that was swirling around my legs during the stronger gusts. I was afraid I was going to have a Marilyn Monroe moment with the skirt swirling up too high. I always wear slip shorts under skirts and dresses though. I forgot how windy it can get up there compared to here. Fall is often windy so I should wear long maxi skirts to appointments up there for the season.

The podiatrist was very rushed and distracted. He ordered the MRIs for my feet but only one foot went through in their system. I have the MRI scheduled for late next month. I'll have to call his receptionist tomorrow to have them add my other foot to the order. I go to see the foot and ankle orthopedist on October 1st at a separate location which is close to the mall where a big Barnes and Noble opened last year. I need to schedule an appointment with a knee orthopedist and see if I can get them to order imaging and resume the gel lubricant injections. I also need to call the physical therapy place. So many medical appointments but such incredibly slow progress.

I went to the supermarket afterwards. They had pork egg rolls so I'll have some of them for dinner with a side dish and some tomatoes. We're due for rain later and my knees and ankles are already smarting because of it, so no leaf raking today. We had rain yesterday evening so I didn't go to the laundromat. Tonight will be a repeat. I'll have to see what happens with the weather tomorrow. We aren't supposed to have rain from Thursday through the weekend though.

Nigel is still missing his cat buddy and follows me all over the house. No news from my sister yet on that potential new job. She has a colonoscopy scheduled for tomorrow so she's stuck at home doing the miserable prep.
