It's only in the mid 60s today, very cloudy, feels damp and chilly. I had to put on a cardigan. The weather is driving my sinuses crazy. I only have three windows open in the house and will have to shut them by this evening. Probably won't open them again until Thursday when the daytime highs go back into the mid to upper 70s. There are scattered light showers around the area for today. We need the rain but I wish it was warmer. Thankfully it will warm up for late week and the weekend. It's only a few weeks away now from turning on the heat on at night and I'm not looking forward to that.
Sweeping and vacuuming is on the agenda this afternoon.
Tomorrow is my podiatrist appointment to discuss the MRIs of my ankles and the arthritis damage. I have to figure out what I'm going to wear. The doctors there always tend to talk down to patients so I definitely have to do the 'dress for success' power dressing in nice business casual clothes. It's a pain that gender descrimination against women patients in healthcare never ends so you have to do you best to counteract it all the time. Around here it's common for some doctors, particularly specialists, to assume people with chronic health conditions are less intelligent, less educated. Dealing with sexism on top of that adds another layer of difficulty. It just makes medical appointments unnecessarily unpleasant.
