We did get some rain late last night, heavy for a little while but not enough to cause flooding issues.

It's cloudy, in the 70s and humid. But there's no more rain until later tonight so the roadwork crew is out there working. They finished up the pipework through the intersection down the street so now they're working around the corner on the other road. Our street is open to daytime traffic again.

My sister arrived around lunchtime and is now resting since she didn't get much sleep last night. I'm a bit tired myself from this sinus infection so I'm taking it easy. I'm taking an antibiotic in the floxicin antibiotic family, similar to Cipro but it's one of the other ones, a high dose once a day. My sinuses have been so clogged up I'm not even experiencing much in the way of hay fever allergy symptoms from the ragweed and other late summer/early fall weeds which is weird. This is usually the worst time of year allergy-wise for me. I've sneezed a couple of times the past few days but normally I'd get the daily runny nose thing with the high pollen counts. I'm just getting a bit of the allergy eye symptoms instead.

It will be a quiet evening, likely take-out food for dinner. My sisters still aren't on speaking terms so this will be interesting when my other sister stops by in a day or two.
