It's cloudy and in the mid 70s since that cold front came through last evening but the heavy rain passed to the south of us. We just had light rain. We're due for more showers overnight tonight though.

Just a home day today taking care of things around the house. My sister is supposed to drive up from VA overnight tonight. It was 100 degrees in her area yesterday and it will be in the low 90s for them today. But on the local news yesterday the weather report stated the entire east coast is due for a cool down for early September with temperatures below normal, beginning next week. It's supposed to go back up into the 80s with high humidity for the weekend but next week it's supposed to only be in the 70s for much of the week with lows in the mid to upper 50s. Autumn is definitely on the way.
