75 right now going to 95 today. hotter as we get into the week. no rain. i watered yesterday. all dry. grass trying to  turn green again in some spots .

army worms did their number. what i hear on tv the army worm moth comes by my yard and lay eggs. 1/8th inch long ate my grass. well where are they now after they got done eating. never seen any grown worms. did not see baby worms either


glad yard all done for now mowed and trimmed.   got to look at garden.
 
its letter writing morn i got 5 last week. that is about a average number now for pen pals. used to be more.  but 5 is okay with me.

glad my attic fan going with heat going up.. will keep my eye on the plug in attic if it goes off again. i did get in attic and check fan belt .
daughter said plug was out just a bit not all the way. she is glad brought her tool kit with her.i was worried about roasting without my attic fan evenings. she was worried about roasting working on fan motor. glad it was so simple

  she has 2 lawn mowers fixed she is selling. many more to go fix. the older ones are harder as they are metal newer ones have lots of plastic in them  that is why they wear out so soon.
