I got the laundry done yesterday evening and had to stop by my sister's to pick up something from her on the way home. I drive on the main road with the Home Depot on it and up the street from Home Depot there was still a large puddle of water in the parking lot of another business left over from Sunday's flood.

I decided to put off the shopping from today until the weekend since I have fasting bloodwork scheduled for tomorrow morning. It's the usual annual physical bloodwork plus a thyroid check and repeats of some of the basic autoimmune tests. So it's not a good day to wear myself out going from store to store. There are plenty of miscellaneous things to take care of at home to focus on.

It's sunny and chilly again. It went down into the mid 50s last night and is in the low 60s now. It will be in the mid 70s this afternoon. From Friday onwards it will be back into the low to mid 80s with overnight lows in the 60s. Good, because I'm not quite ready for it to be fall yet.
