It's cloudy, humid and in the 70s. We had a little bit of drizzle a while ago. Originally we supposed to have a few light showers possible today with heavier rain tomorrow afternoon and evening. I was all set to have an early dinner in a while and do some shopping afterwards. But now I'm getting flood watch notifications on my phone with the flood watch in effect until 2 am Sunday morning. What the heck?

I'll have to watch the 6 pm news to see what they're thinking is going to happen this evening with the weather. This certainly throws a wrench in my plans if we're due for storms this evening.

At least the bad weather held off since there was a wedding at the church by us earlier this afternoon. The bride's gown was slip dress style with off the shoulder puffed sleeves in ivory. The bridesmaids all wore ivory slip dresses. The matron of honor wore a light blue slip style maternity dress. The boy who was the ring bearer wore a suit in the same shade of blue so I'm guessing he is her son. The only one in the wedding party wearing a white dress with a traditional full skirt was the flower girl. The groom, his groomsmen and the best man all had black suits. With the guests the women and girls mainly wore ivory, beige or white. The men and boys mostly wore beige suits with crisp white dress shirts so everyone was in on the color scheme. They all looked very nice.
