It's a sun and clouds mix. Low 80s today with lower humidity. Will be in the low to mid 80s with overnight lows in the 60s all week. A nice change from the mid to high 90s and high humidity. I broke out my new butterfly print plushie Big One blanket from Kohl's to sleep under last night. I'm a sucker for soft faux fur blankets with colorful prints. Maybe we'll get a passing shower today, but no real rain chances until the weekend. We could use a break from the rain for a bit though. I got my package from Amazon close to dinnertime yesterday and I watched the Olympics closing ceremony, so I didn't go to Home Depot. I have to go in a while. I have to stop by the store for a bag of dry cat food for the neighborhood stray cats. There's a timid red tabby who started showing up several weeks ago and patiently waits on the front porch to be fed. These are the cats who were abandoned by several families in the neighborhood when they moved away, and their offspring. We have the across the street neighbors, a retired couple, who have set up some cat houses in their backyard and still actively do catch/neuter/release. It's always awful when people abandon pets.
