It's been dry in the 80s during the day and evening although it does eventually cool down in the middle of the night. Not oppressive humidity but it does rise a little during the day and evening then goes back down overnight.

I did grocery shopping earlier. I watched some of the Olympics. The whole neighborhood stinks and the smell has gotten into the house. I had to shut some of the windows but the smell made it in quickly before I had the chance to act. I'm am so tired of that family with the meat smoker repeatedly putting too much wood in it and making the neighborhood smell like wood fire. I'm pretty sure it's the family with a swimming pool and a big deck who spend their whole summer in their backyard. They're the backyard neighbors of the family several houses up the block from us. It went from once or twice a week with the smoke to every evening and night. It stinks from about 4 pm afterwards until midnight some nights. Hopefully we'll actually get some of the rain they're forecasting for the middle of next week. It will give us a break from their stinking up the neighborhood.

Heidi, sometimes it's good to take a break from the news. It gets to be too intense.
