My bad sinuses have been making me feel lousy for days now, but I finally had the energy to go to the laundromat after dinner yesterday. The humidity has ramped back up so I didn't sleep well last night. It took a long time for it to cool down last night as well. Fortunately the temps are just going up into the 80s in the afternoons. On the downside the clouds are keeping it from cooling down any lower than the mid 70s at night. It was much nicer when it went down into the upper 60s overnight for a few nights. No 90+ degrees days again until next week. It's cloudy/hazy. We're due for rain later today, plus on and off showers for much of the week. My area is still in moderate drought so we really need this rain. Just about the entire state is in mild to moderate drought.

It's a home day for me taking care of things around the house. Lots to do since I'm still plowing through all the paperwork that had been stored in the basement that's now in the dining room and needs sorting. Boxes and boxes of the stuff. Soon I'm going to have to bite the bullet and craft a detailed email to send to my nurse case manager at my HMO requesting info about dropping my new rheumatologist and podiatrist and getting new docs elsewhere. I have an appointment scheduled with my rheumatologist in two weeks and if she refuses to run further tests to figure out what's going with my worsening arthritis and to find an answer about what autoimmune disorder I've developed, I'm going to fire her as my doctor. I don't even have an appointment scheduled with the podiatrist. Haven't heard anything from him at all. Completely useless. I don't know why that one hospital from a neighboring county has bothered opening these group medical practices in my area. They are badly run.
