We finally got rain yesterday evening when the cold front came through. It's in the 80s today with slightly lower humidity. I'm still very tired. I've slept very poorly with all the heat. It should go down into the upper 60s later tonight. That will be a welcome change.

I'll be soon out the door to run a couple of errands then have tidying housework and yardwork to take care of afterwards. I spent quite a while on the phone last night talking to my sister from VA. She's taking a staycation week at home, resting and relaxing and catching up on doctor appointments. She has long Covid so she's dealing with health issues related to that. It's given her POTS and dystonia. A friend of mine has long Covid and gets it as bouts of chronic fatigue syndrome. My sister hasn't decided when she'll come back up to retrieve her kitty who is summering with us, but he's doing fine. The cats enjoy each other's company.

I took advantage of Amazon Prime Days and ordered a few small things that will arrive on the weekend.
