Yesterday was cloudy and in the low 80s. I watered outside in the morning but we did get rain last night. Not storms, just periods of lighter rain. Today is cloudy and in the 70s, but humid and stormy. We had a thunderstorm two hours ago. I can hear thunder from storms to the south of us. We have a severe thunderstorm watch. This is a cold front coming through so there will be blue skies and low humidity tomorrow.

I've just spent the weekend taking care of stuff around the house. Sorting the recycling, completely replaced the scoopable litter in the cat's box. I'm trying to reorganize stuff around the house. We have a small storage unit at a storage place nearby so I'm boxing and bagging up spare things and will even temporarily store my winter clothes there, while stuff gets moved around the house. It's not easy because there's clutter since my sister here is a collector of numerous and sundry things. She has enough stuff to open up her own collectables shop. She can't keep it at the other house where she's the housemate of one of her BFFs, so her stuff stays here. Vintage toys and ephemera, vintage and contemporary holiday decor are her favorites. She's very much into Halloween and Christmas things. This drives my other sister and I crazy. We're trying to get the house organized and have some work done on it. Typical old house problems that need fixing. Her friends still haven't decided when to hold our joint yard sale up at their house. It's an ongoing process adding excess items to the stack of stuff to sell. Unfortunately since my town now forces you to buy a yard sale permit and you can only have two yard sales a year, I think they're intentionally taking their time about picking a date. You can't really blame them though.

The gas and electric company has marked up the roads for phase two of the natural gas lines updates. They're supposed to send out letters for scheduling appointments to have the new pipeline underneath the road connected to the pipe that comes into everyone's basement. It takes up to four hours to do this for each house, so I need a day that doesn't conflict with my PT appointments.
