My sister is here, but leaving later today. Since she has a Costco membership we went there yesterday and I loaded up on household supplies. We stopped by Petco for her cat's canned food since he will be staying here for several weeks. Next weekend is when my sister goes off to her week-long conference. Last evening was watching one of the early seasons Midsommer Murders on PBS. Some of the early ones had wackier plotlines since everyone in the small towns and villages engaged in many odd and suspicious behavior and gossiped about each other constantly, moreso than in more recent seasons of the show.

Tonight after dinner I have to tackle the laundry. It's going to be a hot week so all my capri pants need to be clean to wear. With my swollen arthritic knees I've completely given up on wearing shorts since my knees look terrible. I also have a few summer midi skirts at the ready.

Heidi, there are some fit and flare summer dresses to be had around, including at Kohl's but you need to hunt for them. There's also J.C Penny. I don't like dresses that are too loose and tent like, or the clingy slip dresses that have dominated in the stores in recent years.
