It's sunny and in the 70s. The last mild day. Just taking care of stuff around the house and organizing.

The mail came a while ago and the appeal to my insurance company to cover the MRIs of my feet and ankles was turned down basically because my podiatrist didn't bother to do the peer to peer appeal and because it's my rheumatologist who sent me to PT, not the podiatrist, so my current PT doesn't count because I was sent by a different doctor. I need six weeks of PT with a prescription specifically from the podiatrist. Meanwhile I'm finishing up week seven of a twelve week PT stint, which includes dealing with the ankle arthritis, from the rheumatologist. My rheumatologist refuses to order imaging so she's no help there.

I have to call my podiatrist tomorrow to schedule an appointment. This mess is the fault of that group medical practice and they should be trying to correct the problem instead of leaving me holding the bag.
