It was a long day today. It was sunny and in the upper 70s. The hot weather starts next Thursday. A branch came down on the property line. So our neighbor took out his mini electric chainsaw and I had my hand saw so we got it cut into pieces and into garbage pails to put on for the yard waste pickup. I also cut up the branch that fell off our city tree the other night.

One of the large planters has plugged up drainage holes so I started scooping out the wet soil. It needs to be emptied out to unclog it. It's a planter we usually put annuals in during the summer. I had to be careful because bees kept landing on the wet soil for a drink. But I was too tired to finish the job. I woke up tired and sore from yesterday's PT to begin with and hadn't expected to do that much manual labor today. After dinner I did grocery shop but put off doing the laundry until tomorrow evening.
