Yesterday proved to be a difficult errands day in the late afternoon and evening. I couldn't get the file to open from my flash drive to print out at FedEx Office. I came home to my sister not having house keys waiting for me to let her in. I quickly scarfed down half my dinner so I could go to the library to attempt to email the file to their printer which worked, but it took multiple tries to get it to pop up in their system. A couple was using the printer/copy machine and refused to let me print out my page. They were oh so very slowly going through some big stack of paperwork gingerly picking out which pages to photocopy. The checkout desk is right there and the librarians knew this couple were being intentionally difficult and selfish but wouldn't do anything about it and just told me to go print out upstairs on the second floor. The second floor wireless printing is a different and more complicated method of getting a page printed out from your laptop since it has to be emailed to the librarian at the upstairs reference desk through a service and you have to wait for it to show up in their system on their computers which takes time. You have to send the file as an email attachment they open and send to the printer/copier. While I was dealing with that the heavy rain with thunderstorms started. When I finally left the library that stupid couple were still photocopying papers on the first floor from their big stack. They had taken over the copier for over an hour and seemed nowhere near finished. I got soaked walking to the car. Lots of lightning in all directions.
Eventually the rain stopped for a while so I could bring the garbage bag out to the pail at the curb and fill the bird feeders for this morning without getting wet. The rain started back up again and got heavy and loud pounding against the house during the night at one point. We had a flood watch here last night and my phone kept pinging from the notifications. The weather aggravated my knee arthritis so I slept very poorly last night. My knees were throbbing and the muscles kept getting crampy.
I have PT this afternoon then have to go back to the library to fax out my medical appeal documents. Their fax is cheaper than faxing at FedEx Office. Afterwards I'll probably take a nap in the front of the tv before dinner. I got very little sleep last night.
