Yesterday I was tired from Thursday's PT, so I just ran a couple of short local errands. I'm still kinda tired but plan to run to the supermarket soon. I'm just about out of milk and bread. I'm in a dinner rut too and need to buy some things for more variety. It can't be chicken every night. Although last night I microwaved a shepherd's pie with beef I bought at Trader Joe's the other day and it was tasty. I'll have to go back to Trader Joe's soon and pick up another one or two of these. It makes a nice dinner. I bought a tub of the chocolate flavored Cats Cookies for People and had some for dessert. I should get the almond windmill cookies next time I'm there.
My sister came by for a while last night. Not much going on with her, just selling her artwork online and doing the Audubon society stuff as usual. She has a shop on Etsy and sells her paintings and mixed media art. I envy her with that. I used to do all sorts of arts and crafts projects but the arthritis in my hands has made that hard. I did make a granny square afghan using white and pastel colored yarns a while back. All the squares are done and it's mostly pieced together. I really should take it out of its bag and finish it while I watch tv at night. After I piece the last of it together I need an edging pattern for it. I'll have to dig out my crochet stitch patterns books. I used to knit a lot more versus crocheting but now I find crocheting easier with the arthritis.
The recycling gets picked up Tuesday morning so I will start sorting that later. I have a couple of Amazon boxes that need to be broken down while I watch tv. Tomorrow I'm going to have to bite the bullet and go to the laundromat. The rain should finally end for a few days by then. I try to avoid doing the laundry when it's raining because the laundry gets wet when I'm carrying out the blue Ikea bags of clean clothes to the parking lot. We've had far too many wet days the past two weeks.
