Heidi, we have a nice selection of birds up here. The backyard feeders empty out quickly each morning. I have to pick up more seed and shelled peanuts this weekend since I'm getting low. We had on and off showers yesterday, last night and this morning. The wind picked up starting last night but it's just breezy, not overly gusty fortunately. The worst of the heavy rain and wind was out on the eastern half of Long Island. It's humid so the air feels heavy even though the temps are in the low 60s and it's still darker grey skies.

Amazon is having their first big book sale and I ordered two mass market paperback mysteries yesterday. They should get here tomorrow. One of them was just five dollars and change with the sale. I'm keeping an eye out for any other really good deals that pop up on books from cozy mystery series I enjoy. The sale runs through May 20th.

I had my PT session this afternoon. Quite a workout. I'm doing strengthening exercises. I'm also doing some balancing exercises which are harder for me with the joint deformity and with my one lower leg being misaligned by the extent of the arthritis damage with that one knee. The weird thing is I have more strength in the leg with the worse hip and knee arthritis and lower leg misalignment vs. the other leg where my hip and knee aren't as bad. That's the leg with the worse ankle and foot, but the weakness is with the entire leg though. Go figure.
