We didn't even plant the wisteria and it's only been in the backyard for the past 15-20 years and is a nuisance. Must have been from seeds pooped out by the birds. This latest one is in a larger planter in the front yard we use for annuals in the summers. I cut it back to six inches above the soil but need to dig out the roots.
