I have a miniature rose bush in a flower pot. I kept it on the front lawn tucked inside a slightly larger ceramic pot all last summer and into the fall. I brought it in for the winter and put it on top of the three shelf built-in wooden bookcase that faces windows on the southeastern corner of the house so it gets morning sun. Last month I put it outside again and the first night it got nibbled by one of the woodchucks so it's back indoors. You'd think with tiny thorns the woodchucks would leave it alone, but nope.

It was chilly last night again, down into the 40s. Too many clouds then so no northern lights. It's a sun and clouds mix day today in the low 60s. Today and Thursday are the only days that will be rain free both day and night this week. Tomorrow will be rain free during the daylight hours but the rain will start up again tomorrow night. Not good for the arthritis. Just a housework day. Trying to sort and organize some things too. Tomorrow is PT, Petco and laundry day.
