Rain showers on and off last night made it impossible to see the northern lights. On the news they showed pictures taken of them up in New York state and northern Connecticut where they had clearer skies. It's been cloudy all day but dry. The rain will return overnight and we're due for showers tomorrow. It was in the mid 40s last night and was just in the mid 50s for the high today. Tomorrow will be no better. It should be in the low 70s. Hopefully we'll get there by Monday or Tuesday.

One of the roses has opened on one rose bush. I took advantage of the dry afternoon to mow the lawn. We're due for more showers in the later half of the new week so by next weekend it will definitely need mowing again.
