I picked up packets of Zinnia and Alyssum flower seeds at the supermarket yesterday to plant in the bare spots by the perennial plants out front a little later this month. In our zone you sow the seeds outdoors May-June.

It's been a chilly weekend. It's just in the low 50s. It will be warmer starting tomorrow but get chilly again late week and into next weekend. We had light rain for a while last night, then the rain returned late morning and it's been on and off light rain all day. It's Orthodox Easter Sunday. The neighborhood church had a sunrise service.

It's just a home day for me getting ready for the new week. I have to get the recycling containers in the front hall with the last of the stuff sorted to go to the curb tomorrow evening.
